Prepare for victory

Great day Beloved,

Be prepared for your victory. There may be times when we defeat ourselves because we don’t believe we can be triumphant or we don’t believe we deserve to succeed. DO NOT let your past or your current circumstances dictate your future. You say…but Ciltona you don’t know me, you don’t understand.

I may not know you personally, nor do I know your story or what trial you may be going through. But I do know and have a personal relationship with my God who is bigger and badder than any situation. Call on the name of Jesus. Try Him, you done tried everything else. There is power in the name of Jesus, there is rest and peace in the name of Jesus. Be restored, empowered and energized in Christ Jesus. Cry out loud to Jesus! You my Beloved are a cherished child of God, designed for victory.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deut. 31:6

You can be successful, you deserve to be successful. Think and see yourself successful. Pray yourself successful; ask God what must you do to be successful. Don’t wish for it, work for it. The fact that you are still here after all that you have been through shows how strong God made you! Don’t listen to the negativity that may be around you. Stop talking negative to yourself. Forgive yourself and begin to love yourself with the unconditional love that God has for you. See your success and prepare for your victory.

Much love,

Ciltona-your encouragement sister

In a dry place

At some time or another, we all find ourselves in a dry place. Like each of us, our dry places will be unique to us and our circumstances. But there are areas of commonality for all dry places.

Common characteristics of a dry place …

  1. You will feel alone-but like a mirage of water in the desert, you being alone in your dry place, is an illusion, it is not true, you are not alone. Open your eyes and look around, look up and see God.

  1. Being in a dry place can distort our vision, we can’t see clearly and may miss seeing things.. such as opportunities to minister to someone else in their dry place.

  1. There is a time limit on your dry place. Remind yourself that the time in a dry place has an expiration date, it is temporary!

“And the Lord will continually guide you, And satisfy your soul in scorched and dry places, And give strength to your bones; And you will be like a watered garden, And like a spring of water whose waters do not fail. Isa. 58:11 (AMP)

Success

Blessings on this day that the Lord has made. Beloved be encouraged for God has a plan for you to succeed.

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jer. 29:11

The best place to be is in the will of God, and in this season it is my desire to live God’s will for my life. God equips who He calls and as we walk in His will, God will reveal gifts, talents, favor and anointing that will give us success.

On Saturday March 11th, Strong and Courageous Women will hold our *Plan for Success and Bring a Sister workshop*. Please register for this empowering event. Learn how to strategically plan for your success.

Weed out the negative

For a garden to flourish, it must be weeded, watered and nurtured consistently, not when it’s convenient and not only when you want to. For your personal and spiritual growth, and for you to flourish, you must weed out the negative, get living water and be in a nurturing environment.

1 Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers,
2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.
3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers. Ps.1:1-3 (NIV)

For your personal growth do not hang with those that you know are not doing right, those folks that never have an encouraging word, who can’t see past their own noses, those that have no positive vision for the future. I’m not saying quit your job, or trade in your family for a more positive loving one. You can set the atmosphere wherever you are. Don’t join in with the gossip, mean-spirited talk, whining and complaining. As you get closer in your relationship with God, ungodly behavior, trash talk, music and movies will bother your spirit. You are not to be self-righteous or sanctimonious, but righteous and loving. Reflect Jesus, when your unsaved co-workers or family members talk defeat, and negativity. You show love, talk lovingly, and speak words of encouragement and life to others and to yourself, everyday. Don’t beat them in the head with a bible, but give a kiss , a hug and  say ” I love you and believe you can do great things”, or ” sorry you had a rough day, I love you.”

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matt. 5:16-17 (KJV)

Weeds can strangle plants and prevent growth. What areas of your life do you need to weed out the negative? If your bank accounts are in the negative, weed out the negative. A wise man said save high and spend low. Yes, you can do it, it is possible to save money.  Some suggestions for  saving money….

    1. Reduce your cable package to a less costly alternative.
    2. Pack your lunch, everyday, and look at the savings add up!!
    3. Get up earlier, and make your own coffee!!
    4. Join store rewards programs to save money and get insider specials.

You must have a positive vision for your future, and  a desire to walk in your divine purpose. God has blessed you with gifts and talents so you can accomplish God’s divine will for your life. Discover your gifts and talents, develop them and operate in them. What are you amazing at doing and what do you love to do that can bless others and glorify God?  It may take more than a moment to answer the question, but it will be worth the effort. I love you and I am excited for your future!!

Beloved, go to the source of living water…Jesus. Speak life and positive affirmations to yourself,  and create a nurturing environment for yourself. Weed out the negative.

Your sister,

Ciltona

Go Deeper

As the holiday season approaches the world may be full of distractions and falsehoods that this is a time of stress and anxiety. In the name and power of Jesus I pray against the spirit of depression, discouragement and anxiety. I pray that the joy, peace, and love of Jesus abound in your life. To reap the benefits of a closer and stronger relationship with Christ, go deeper in His Word, spend time with Him.
Have faith that the God who created the heavens and the earth shall complete the good work He began in you.
For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the LORD, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 (AMP)

Go deeper to discover the gifts and talents God has blessed you with to bless others in His name. Go deeper and glorify God with your life.

Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship. Romans 12:1 (AMP)

Heavenly Father,
Please bless your children reading this. Touch them, their families, households and jobs with your peace. Help us to stay encouraged and live lives that glorify you. Help us to dig deeper for more of You. Thank you Lord for coming so we may have life more abundantly. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Your sister,

Ciltona

Strength & Power

Great morning Beloved,

I pray that you are filled with the joy of knowing Jesus as your Lord and savior. Believe that God loves you and has designed you for greatness. There is strength, power, courage and joy inside you.

1. Strength and power

He gives strength to the weary, And to him who has no might He increases power. Isaiah 40:29 (AMP)

You are empowered by the creator of the universe. God created us to do great things…minister to his people, be encouraged so we can encourage others, and create wealth so we can bless our homes, the homes of others and the house of God. All these things and our divine assignments require strength, power, courage and joy. God has equipped us with what we need to do what He has called us to do.

2. Courage

You can be courageous if you have faith and confidence in He who is the Alpha and the Omega. God who is omnipotent has your back and desires your success. Being in the will of God is the place to draw courage from.

6 Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you. Deut. 31:6 (ESV)

3. Joy

11 You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy;
At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:10-11 (NKJV)

God has blessed us with free will. So I choose joy, I choose to see my blessing in the valley and be thankful for the pressing in the test. When we are tested God sees our success because He knows He placed victory in us! So please continue to press into your victorious destiny.

Your sister,

Ciltona

Speak life

In the beginning… God spoke the heavens, the earth and all therein into existence. We were created in God’s image and we have the power of creation in our mouths as well. What we speak creates atmosphere and will be internalized by someone. So set the atmosphere wherever you are, bring the joy, be the peace in the storm. Be encouraged Beloved so you can encourage others.

A soothing tongue [speaking words that build up and encourage] is a tree of life, But a perversive tongue [speaking words that overwhelm and depress] crushes the spirit. Proverbs 15:4 Amp.

We must consistently speak greatness to ourselves and our children. Children mimic and mirror, so give them words of love, strength and divine purpose. Speak life and sow seeds of encouragement that will bring a harvest of excellence.

“Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.”         Vince Lombardi

Many images in the world are not flattering and do not nurture us spiritually nor feed us emotionally. We will be left feeling unfulfilled if we look towards the world for affirmation, love and encouragement. We must seek the divine creator and His word to affirm ourselves and our loved ones. Please never be just okay again. Be empowered, encouraged and confident that you are beautiful and were created by a loving God to be amazing, powerful and creative.

Speak life!

Your sister,

Ciltona
