4 Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again I will say, rejoice! Phil. 4:4 (AMP)
Rejoice Beloved, God has blessed you with a new day!
God blessed you with two presents that you opened this morning…your eyes. So look around at your blessings, don’t be in such a rush to get through the day that you miss seeing your blessings…breathing, a choice of clothing, transportation, travel mercies, and so much more …did you have something to eat last night, today?
The Apostle Paul was writing to the Philippian church while under arrest to express his love and appreciation of their support. He was able to write about joy and encourage them to have joy and rejoice in the Lord. When you rejoice in the Lord it is not based on your circumstances. Rejoice is a verb, an action word meaning to be glad; take delight in. So take action and choose to rejoice. Let your joy be based on the goodness of God.
Beloved I pray that God keeps His hand upon you blessing you with His grace and mercy. May your day be filled with God’s power and love, as you bless others and glorify God.
I am convinced and confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will [continue to] perfect and complete it until the day of Christ Jesus [the time of His return]. Philippians 1:6 (AMP)
Paul was speaking to the Philippians to encourage them to work within the will of God, to do good works and stop the fighting amongst themselves. Y’all need to get this, stop the fighting amongst ourselves. There’s work to be done. And you Beloved are gifted to get the job done. People need you, your gifts, your love, and your testimony of strength and perseverance. God has blessed you to be here, now, in this season. Whatever season you are in I thank God for you, and I am truly excited for what you are going to do with the gifts God has given you.
For it is [not your strength, but it is] God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure. Philippians 2:13 (AMP)
God began His good work in us when he created us, and we were created to desire to do good works. A very wise man said “ What God requires, requires God” God has given you what you need for your divine assignment. You may have multiple divine assignments. But I serve a big awesome powerful God who can supply all our needs.
Beloved, I pray God’s will over your life. Be strengthened, renewed and encouraged.
7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7 (NLT)
No loving parent dedicated to protecting their child would willingly allow harm to come to their child. A loving parent wants their child to have a healthy and successful life. God is the ultimate loving parent. He loves and cherishes you. Take a moment and let that marinate a bit.….the creator of the heavens and earth loves and cherishes you and only wants the best for you!
The world system does not have your best interests at heart and will not treat you with love. You will be ridiculed for your faith and portrayed as weak, when you do not go along with what is ungodly. Peace (of mind) and power comes from the comfort and security that God loves you and has your back.
Your circumstances, whether it be a storm or a wilderness season are not hindrances to your power but opportunities for the power of God to arise in you to turn the situation into a victorious testimony that will encourage someone.
Renew your mind daily, and you will gain strength and courage to walk in the way you should go. You were created by our Heavenly Father for a divine purpose. There is no one else on earth like you. You are amazing, gifted and divinely designed by God. Rest in God, rely on God, get strength and power from God.
“Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.” -Harriet Tubman
Harriet Tubman saw freedom for herself when society said she didn’t have a right to be free, when slavery was legal in the United States. Yet she dreamed and lived to abolish slavery. What have you dreamed about? What has God revealed to you? Whatever vision God has given you he has also given you what you need to bring it to fruition.
Dream big and be strong
To be strong you need to eat right. Feast on God’s Word so you will know who God says you are.
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]. Romans 8:37 (AMP)
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: Romans 8:16 (KJV)
Dream big and be courageous
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control]. 2 Timothy 1:7- (AMP)
Do not listen to the naysayers. Haters will hate. Do not be intimidated by the lack of support, everyone will not see your vision; your vision from God is for you. Your divine assignment is just that…your assignment. Talk to the Lord, spend time with God in prayer and God with bless you with discernment to recognize your support team. Your heavenly Father will send you who and what you need to fulfill your divine assignment. The more time you spend with God and dwell in His word the stronger and more courageous you will become. Courage and strength are benefits of spending time with God.
So believe God and dream big!
